Medina Meadows Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for talented State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) to work for our Medina, OH facility. We are a 4 Star rated beautiful 60 bed facility. Our resident rooms are all private with showers and bathrooms. STNAs will be responsible for the primary function of carrying out routine assistance with daily living for our residents' care and participation, promoting resident independence. All observations are relayed to the Unit Manager/Supervisor/designee, and documentation is completed as directed.

Job Specification:

Provides direct and indirect patient care activities under the direction of an RN or LPN. Assists patients with activities of daily living, provides for personal care, and comfort, and assists in the maintenance of a safe and clean environment for an assigned group or patients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Recording vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate;

  • Providing routine individualized healthcare needs;

  • Personal Care including bathing, dressing, mobility, incontinence care, feeding and other services;

  • Follow facility procedures for admission, discharge and transfer of residents;

  • Giving basic emotional and psychological support to the patient and family;

  • Directly provide nursing or nursing-related service;

  • Maintaining records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report;

  • Perform other related activities as assigned or requested.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

  • Must be a graduate of a State-approved STNA program;

  • LTC or geriartric experience preferred

  • State Testing Nurse’s Aide license in Ohio

  • Clean Background check

  • Wages are based on experience
