SDC Position Summary

As the Staff Development Coordinator at Maplewood Health Care, you'll be an essential part of our residents' care. Responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the completion of facility assessments determining the knowledge and skills required amongst staff to meet resident needs.

  • Plan, schedule, conduct and oversee educational training as well as routine in-services for all staff.

  • Review and update education routinely to reflect the most current guidelines associated to company policy and/or federal guidelines associated with long-term care.

  • Assist with evaluating competencies and maintain all records and reports of trainings and evaluations.

  • Perform any other additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Nursing and/or the Administrator.

  • Maintain confidentiality of protected health information, including verbal, written and electronic communications.


SDC Requirements

  • Current unrestricted LPN or RN license for the state of Tennessee

  • 2 years of work experience as a LPN or RN
