Position Summary

Nightingale at Crossett is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. The RN Unit Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit, ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff leadership. This role is ideal for an experienced RN who is passionate about teamwork, clinical excellence, and resident-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate day-to-day nursing operations of the assigned unit
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with facility policies, state and federal regulations
  • Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs
  • Participate in hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed
  • Conduct daily rounds to monitor resident conditions and address concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapy, dietary, and social services
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation
  • Monitor compliance with infection control, medication administration, and care plans
  • Assist with audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to promote positive outcomes

Qualifications

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arkansas
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care setting preferred
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations
