We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) level for a Full-Time Director of Nursing to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill. Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs that promote a positive and supportive environment for our residents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including administration, staffing, and budgeting.

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that align with our Mission and Vision.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, and other community resources.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid.

  • Provide input and participate in budget planning and cost management.

  • Develop and implement staff development and training programs.

  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction and retention.

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care and services we provide.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

  • Experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) level or equivalent nursing leadership/supervisory role.

  • Current and good standing Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
