We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) leader to join our team at Aspire Senior Living Pleasant Hill as a Full-Time Director of Nursing. As a key member of our leadership team, the Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for overseeing the overall operations of our nursing department, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the nursing department, including administration, staffing, and budgeting

  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that align with our Mission and Vision

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care

  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers, hospitals, and other community resources

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Medicare and Medicaid

  • Provide input and participate in budget planning and cost management

  • Develop and implement staff development and training programs

  • Foster a positive and supportive work environment, promoting employee satisfaction and retention

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the care and services we provide

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

  • Experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) level or equivalent nursing leadership/supervisory role

  • Current and good standing Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Missouri

  • Strong leadership and management skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly
