About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated, experienced live-in caregiver (CNA or experienced HHA) for a 79-year-old male client with ALS in Boca Raton.

This is a high-touch, long-term private case ideal for someone who takes pride in providing excellent care AND preparing high-quality, nutritious meals.

Important: This role requires extended international travel (Israel) during the summer, so flexibility and willingness to travel for longer periods is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on, non-medical care for a client with ALS

Perform light housekeeping and home organization
Provide medication reminders
Maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment

Requirements

CNA or HHA experience preferred
Experience with ALS or neurological conditions strongly preferred
Strong cooking skills REQUIRED (this is a major part of the role)
Familiarity with kosher-style cooking (not strict/orthodox) or willingness to learn
Must be comfortable working a live-in schedule (5–7 days/week)
- 7-day availability is a BIG plus
Must be able and willing to travel internationally for extended periods (REQUIRED)
