We are looking for a compassionate CNA to join our team! As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment. CNA Duties & Responsibilities: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff. Engaging residents in meaningful activities and providing emotional support. Utilizing customer service skills to ensure that residents receive exceptional and meaningful care. Other duties as needed. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Nurse Assistant utilizes infection control practices including use of Standard Precautions for all patient contracts. The NA duties include maintaining a clean and safe patient and work environment. Observes and promptly reports changes in mentation, health status and safety to the Registered Nurse. Assumes professional accountability, utilizes established policy and procedure to assist the RN to implement and modify any individualized plan of care. The Certified Nursing Assistant utilizes age related patient care protocol to complete assigned tasks. Maintains and demonstrates clinical competence through timely completion of required competencies and educational offerings. In addition, this role includes reception duties, i.e.; answering phones, providing family and visitor directions, helping physicians find chart reports, transcribing physician orders, assembling patient charts, calling physician offices for consult and patient appointments. Requires the use of multi-line telephone system, fax and copy machines, computer and paging systems. Requires knowledge of department supplies and equipment. Maintains and restock patient work rooms.
