Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years prior experience working with pediatrics, preferably in a school setting
- Solid assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and nurturing environment for children with special needs
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct nursing care to students, addressing acute and chronic health issues
- Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments per physician orders
- Monitor health conditions and respond swiftly to emergencies
- Maintain thorough and confidential health records
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure holistic care
- Educate students and staff on pertinent health topics and preventive care
- Support after-school and residential activities as needed
Role Details:
- Full-time contract: 40 hours/week
- Evening schedule: SundayThursday, 3pm11pm
- Immediate start, continuing through June 2026
- Onsite at a respected educational institution for the visually impaired
- RN and LPN openings available (evening and overnight shifts)
