Qualifications:
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- At least three years of experience in pediatric nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) strongly preferred
- Previous school nursing experience is highly valued
- Comfortable and confident working independently on-site
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional nursing care to students with vision needs and other medical complexities
- Administer medications, monitor health conditions, and address urgent medical situations as needed
- Document care and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with school standards and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare professionals to promote student wellness and access to learning
- Provide evening coverage, including first response for illnesses or injuries
- Participate in care planning and contribute insights to support student success and safety
