Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU/ASU Position Summary 

A Perianesthesia Nurse must possess expert skills in critical thinking, advocacy, and multitasking to properly manage each patient. Perianesthesia Nurse will work hand in hand with our Anesthesia and Surgical team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the individualized care of each patient with the goal to deliver the highest quality care. Our Perianesthsia team rotates through pre-operative area, phase one and phase two areas.

  • Active RN license
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR and ACLS
  • A Bachelors in Nursing (BSN) degree is required or must be obtained within 5 years from date of hire.

IMC RN Position Summary The IMC RN is responsible for managing high acuity patients who are often too critical for a medical/surgical floor but may not require an ICU level of care. The IMC team is skilled in caring for populations such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, post open-heart procedures, continuous cardiac infusions, and those requiring acute continuous non-invasive ventilation (i.e. BiPAP/CPAP). These patients require continuous cardiac and respiratory monitoring and the IMC RN will be prepared to intervene quickly to any changes in hemodynamics or respiratory demands.
