Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

🩺 Provide direct nursing care to residents in an assisted living setting
💊 Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and state regulations
👀 Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns to the RN or provider
📋 Assist with assessments and contribute to individualized service plans
💻 Accurately document medications, treatments, and resident observations in the EHR
🤝 Collaborate with RNs, GNAs, physicians, and the interdisciplinary care team
🗣️ Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs
👩‍⚕️ Supervise and support GNAs/medication aides as assigned
✅ Ensure compliance with state assisted living regulations and facility policies
🧼 Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines
🚨 Respond to resident needs, incidents, and emergencies appropriately
