Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Location: Neptune, NJ
Shift: Full Time, Part Time, Per diem (Weekends) All shift
Position Summary
The CNA assists residents with daily living activities and basic nursing care while following established care plans and safety protocols. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, attentive, and committed to delivering excellent care.
Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, and toileting)

Help residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment

Make and change beds; maintain clean and organized resident areas
-
Serve meals and assist residents with feeding as needed
-
Record food and fluid intake per facility guidelines
-
Measure and record vital signs and weights as directed
-
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
-
Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
-
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies
-
Follow infection control procedures and universal precautions

Assist with restorative care programs

Communicate respectfully to maintain resident dignity and comfort

Attend required trainings and staff meetings
Qualifications
-
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (or enrolled in a state-approved program with certification obtained within 120 days)

Current CPR/BLS certification (e.g., American Heart Association)

Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively in a team environment
