Restorative CNA

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Restorative CNA to support residents in maintaining or improving their highest level of physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. The Restorative CNA works closely with nursing staff and therapy teams to implement restorative care programs that promote independence, mobility, and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with restorative nursing programs as directed by licensed nurses and therapy staff
  • Support residents with ambulation, range-of-motion exercises, transfers, positioning, and mobility activities
  • Encourage residents to participate in activities that maintain independence in daily living skills
  • Monitor and document residents’ progress, participation, and changes in condition
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and feeding as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
  • Observe safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care
  • Assist with maintaining clean and organized resident care areas
Qualifications
  • Active CNA certification in good standing
  • Previous restorative nursing or long-term care experience preferred
  • Knowledge of restorative care techniques and safe patient handling practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude
  • Ability to lift, move, and assist residents safely
