Pediatric Registered Nurse School Setting - Evanston, IL

In this position, you will work 1:1 with a student who has a developmental delay, seizure disorder, cortical visual impairment, dysautonomia, and requires G-tube care. The student is wheelchair-bound, and your role will include providing both health management and support throughout the school day and during transportation to and from school, as you will ride the bus with the student each day.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active Illinois RN or LPN/LVN license
Experience in pediatric or school nursing environments
Proficiency with G-tube care, seizure management, and supporting children with complex health needs
Comfortable providing wheelchair and mobility support
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct 1:1 care and supervision to the student throughout the school day, including bus transport
Monitor and respond to health needs related to the students diagnoses and physical challenges
Administer medication, including G-tube feedings and seizure medications as prescribed
Collaborate regularly with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers
Maintain clear documentation and communicate updates as needed to caregivers and school personnel
