Job Summary: The Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides direct, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric or behavioral health crises in the EmPATH (Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, and Healing) Unit. Working under the supervision of registered nurses and medical providers, the LPT supports rapid stabilization through therapeutic engagement, crisis intervention, medication administration, and continuous observation. The LPT plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, trauma-informed, and healing environment focused on short-term emergency psychiatric care.
