In this role you will be:
- Developing objectives, policies, and procedures to formalize and implement the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of the hospital.
- Formulating and monitoring capital, personnel, and operating budgets.
- Directing staffing and scheduling of personnel.
- Planning and coordinating orientation and educational needs of the staff.
- Directly supervising employees in the delivery of care.
- Maintaining a good working relationship with other disciplines and physicians.
- Promoting positive public relations as a representative of the Nursing Department.
- Managing multiple projects.
- Leading meetings, discussions and process improvement initiatives when needed to promote quality outcomes regarding patient care.
- Audit controls, required to remain alignment in compliance with regulatory standards.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field, or actively pursuing
- EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years recent nursing experience preferred
- 3-5 years progressive leadership experience
- LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- BLS certification required or obtained within 1 month of hire
- Related professional certification preferred
