The role begins ASAP and continues through the end of the school year, with flexible hours of 1-2 days per week during the current session. Youll have the opportunity for extended school year work over the summer, transitioning to a full-time schedule with the new school year.

Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team
Confidence in delivering 1:1 direct care, including medication administration and health monitoring

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide continuous, individualized health care to a single student
Implement care plans as directed and maintain thorough documentation
Act as a liaison between school staff, families, and healthcare providers
Offer support and guidance regarding the students health needs throughout the school day
Ensure a safe and nurturing environment focused on wellness and inclusion
