Assist physician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
Prepare patients for examination, take vitals, and record patients' health history.
Maintains current documentation standards. Completes within shift.
Notifies provider of changes in symptoms in patients.
Completes the referral process for insurances.
Responsible for appropriate Rx refill calls to pharmacies.
Sets up machines, administer injections and medications, and perform routine specimen collection and tests.
Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and clean instruments.
Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies.
Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check-in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
Willing to assist in any area as requested by physician or office manager.
Taking notes during patient visits and documenting them in the electronic health records system.
Working with a supervising Physician or Doctor to complete and submit medical records.
