We are seeking a compassionate LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide exceptional care to our clients. Working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a professional and considerate manner.
Responsibilities
• Accurately record patients' medical histories
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress and potential side effects
• Monitor patients' conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain accurate patient charts
• Assist patients with daily living activities, such as eating and bathing
• Administer injections, medications, and other basic medical care tasks
• Collect samples for lab testing as assigned
• Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families
• Communicate with patients' families and friends to provide advice, comfort, and release instructions
Skills
• Proven experience as an LPN or similar role
• Ability to perform a variety of diverse care tasks and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with hospital health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must
