Position Purpose:
Join our innovative surgical team as an OR Registered Nurse, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and compassionate care for patients undergoing operative and invasive procedures. You’ll work closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and fellow team members to create seamless experiences and positive outcomes.

What You’ll Do:

  • Circulate and scrub for a wide variety of surgical cases, with full training provided

  • Participate in high-acuity specialties including cardiac, neuro, and robotic-assisted procedures

  • Grow your skills in robotics, gaining hands-on experience with leading surgical technology

  • Assess patient needs pre-, intra-, and post-operatively, responding quickly to changes in condition

  • Collaborate with the surgical team to anticipate needs and support optimal patient outcomes

  • Document care and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner

  • Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-op care

  • Support, guide, and delegate tasks to LPNs and Nursing Assistants as needed

  • Participate in ongoing education, team meetings, and quality initiatives

  • Float to other units or adjust shifts as needed to support patient care

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an RN program required.

  • Current RN Licensure in the state of Iowa, or qualified multistate licensure required
