Job Summary

Under direct supervision by the RN performs delegated clinical or laboratory procedures.
Monitor, set-up& maintain the operations of clinical equipment.
Record & document vital signs.
Stock & maintain inventory of specialized areas.
Transport patiens to & from designated locations.
Assist with admitting & discharge procdures.
Perform other related duties as assignedunder the direction and superision of the RN

Required Qualifications*

Graduation from high school or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience necessary.
Must be able to perform a wide range of physical activities which include moving, transporting and positioning patients and equipment as well as constantly positioning self to provide patient care and related duties.

Desired Qualifications*

Progressive knowledge in methods, procedures, materials and equipment of designated area.
6 months experience in skilled long-term facility/acute care hospital, or
Volunteer work of the equivalent of 1 year or experience in short-term care facility (i.e., rehab), or
Completion of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) program, or
Enrollment in pre-PA or pre-MA program track, or
Associate Nursing Degree (AND) program
