Key Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license issued by the state of Pennsylvania
- Previous experience assisting adolescents, ideally in an educational or pediatric setting
- Familiarity and proficiency in catheterization procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and faculty
- Compassion, reliability, and a student-centered approach
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct, onsite, one-on-one nursing care for a student, supporting their health needs during the school day
- Manage and monitor any required catheterization and other specified health procedures
- Document care provided and communicate relevant health information with school staff and guardians, respecting confidentiality
- Respond to health concerns or emergencies with professionalism and calm
- Promote a safe, encouraging, and healthy environment for the student to thrive academically and socially
- Work collaboratively with educators, counselors, and family members as part of the students support team
