In this position, youll be assigned to a single school, collaborating closely with educational staff and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent, compassionate care. Your expertise in catheterization and experience working with adolescents will be central in fostering a positive, safe experience for the student you support.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN license in Pennsylvania
- Previous experience working with adolescents, preferably in a school setting
- Solid skills and confidence in catheterization techniques
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality, ethics, and professional boundaries
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, individualized care to a designated student during school hours
- Monitor and manage the students health needs, including catheterization as required
- Document observations, interventions, and progress in accordance with protocols
- Serve as a liaison among the student, family, and school staff to promote effective communication and holistic care
- Respond promptly to any health emergencies, administering medication or first aid as necessary
- Uphold school health regulations and student safety protocols
