How you’ll make an impact in this role

  • You will be on a team that delivers high-quality patient care collaboratively during transport (intra-facility and inter-facility) by assessing and stabilizing patients, performing necessary interventions.
  • Maintain quality of care by adhering to standards and recommending adjustments in consultation with the multidisciplinary team. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to improve operational efficiency.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • One or more of the following is required:
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Trauma Nurse (TNCC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Certified Prehospital Trauma Life Spprt (PHTLS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Transport obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Flight obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.
    • Certified Registered Nurse specializing in Inpatient Obstetrics credentialed from the National Certification Corporation (NCC) obtained within 24 Months (2 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum Qualification: Three years of experience in Level III/IV HROB labor and delivery.
  • Preferred Qualification: Five years of experience in Level III/IV HROB labor and delivery
