A well-established district is seeking a compassionate and dedicated RN or Certified School Nurse to provide crucial health services on-site. Those currently holding an RN license and in the process of obtaining a Certified School Nurse (CSN) credential are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications & Experience:
- Hold (or actively pursuing) a California RN license and/or CSN credential
- Experience or strong interest in working within elementary school settings
- Ability to provide comprehensive care for general and special education students
- Commitment to completing audiology licensure during assignment
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with staff, students, and families
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across schools
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct nursing care and health education to students Pre-K through 6th grade
- Support compliance with state health mandates and district policies
- Conduct health screenings, medication administration, and care planning
- Serve as a liaison for families, school staff, and community health resources
- Maintain accurate health records and foster a safe, healthy school environment
- Partner with the districts director and team for support and guidance
This is a full-time position (37.5-40 hours/week), taking place exclusively on-site within an inclusive, student-centered district. Candidates will have the opportunity for speedy interviews and prompt hiring decisions.
