Clinical Director (RN) – California

Salary Range: $95,000.00 – $120.000,000 per year (based on experience)

NurseCore is seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Director to oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and support high-quality patient care services within our California home healthcare operations. The Clinical Director provides leadership to clinical staff, ensures adherence to state and federal regulations, and partners with branch leadership to achieve operational and patient care goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee admissions, assessments, care plan development, and discharges
  • Ensure compliance with California Department of Public Health (CDPH) and Title 22 regulations
  • Supervise and support RNs, LVNs, and Home Health Aides (including required training and competencies)
  • Conduct home visits and provide skilled nursing services as needed
  • Maintain quality assurance and survey readiness
  • Communicate with physicians regarding patient status and orders
  • Address patient complaints and uphold patient rights
  • Support staffing, recruitment, and daily clinical operations
Qualifications
  • Active, unencumbered California RN license (California is not a compact state)
  • Minimum 2–4 years nursing experience, including supervisory experience
  • Prior home health experience required
  • Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and clinical assessment skills
  • Experience with EMR systems and clinical documentation platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
