How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Lead daily operations as Nurse Manager, coordinating nursing staff, workflow, and resources to ensure safe, high-quality patient care and efficient unit performance.

• Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate licensed nursing staff, strengthening interdisciplinary team collaboration and supporting professional development that improves direct patient care outcomes.

• Identify and resolve barriers affecting patient care delivery, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to maintain quality improvement standards and efficient care coordination across the nursing unit.

• Monitor departmental budgets, approve expenditures, and manage staffing resources to maintain operational efficiency while supporting safe patient care and high-performing Nurse Manager leadership standards.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.

Work Experience:

  • 3 years of experience required.
  • 1 year of leadership or management experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

  • 3 years + Managerial experience in Preop/Postop
