On Site Part-Time Scheduler/Caregiver

Right at Home Cleveland West is looking for a dependable, compassionate, and organized Part-Time Scheduler/Caregiver to join our team. This hybrid role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping seniors, supporting caregivers, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Position Summary

The Part-Time Scheduler/Caregiver will assist with coordinating caregiver schedules while also providing hands-on care to clients when needed. This role requires strong communication skills, flexibility, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for serving older adults and adults with disabilities.

Responsibilities

As a Scheduler, you will:

• Help coordinate caregiver schedules and client visits
• Communicate with caregivers regarding shift assignments, changes, and updates
• Assist with filling open shifts and handling call-offs
• Maintain accurate scheduling records
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Support daily office operations as needed

As a Caregiver, you will:

• Provide companionship and personal care assistance
• Assist clients with activities of daily living
• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders
• Support safe transfers and mobility as appropriate
• Report changes in client condition to office staff
• Deliver care with dignity, respect, and compassion

Qualifications

• Prior caregiving experience preferred
• Scheduling or office experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be comfortable using phone, email, and scheduling systems
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
• Must be able to pass required background checks

Schedule

This is a part-time position as a scheduler and the rest as a caregiver with flexible hours. Some weekday availability is required. Occasional caregiving shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, or weekends based on client needs.
