Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license in Washington State
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or community health nursing (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities and the flexibility to manage multiple priorities
- BLS certification (current/required)
- Competence with electronic health records and basic computer applications
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and manage student health concerns, chronic conditions, and urgent medical situations
- Administer medications, treatments, and first aid as outlined in care plans
- Work with educators and families to promote health education and preventive care
- Maintain accurate health records and ensure confidentiality
- Support IEP/504 plan development for students with medical needs
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and school staff for coordinated care
