We are currently searching for a talented ADON to join our team!
ADON Responsibilities:
Assist the DON in managing clinical operations of the nursing department.
Develop nursing programs to ensure quality patient services.
Plan and assign workload to nursing staff on shift basis.
Supervise and guide nursing staff on their daily job duties.
Ensure nursing staff follow department procedures and policies.
Address patient complaints promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
Ensure that nursing staff perform assigned duties accurately and timely.
Provide job training to nursing staff to meet department goals.
Ensure that nursing programs comply with federal, state and local standards.
ADON Requirements:
Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing and experience in working with geriatric residents is preferred.
Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
Completion of orientation required by company policy.
Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment.
Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire.
Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check.
Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment.
