Your Impact as an LPN

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you play a critical role in delivering high-quality clinical care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. You will work closely with RNs, CNAs, and the interdisciplinary team to provide compassionate, person-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to the care team

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with care plans

• Supervise and support CNAs in delivering quality care

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

• Ensure compliance with all clinical policies and regulatory standards

• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

What You Bring

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (State of Georgia or eligible)

To handle patient phone calls and care of patients in the office. Perform EKG's and CLIA waived test as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications : High School diploma. Must have good working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 Coding. Current BLS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off. Must be able to maintain composure under difficult and stressful conditions. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and be able to work independently with little supervision. Displays tact and diplomacy in inter-personal skills. Keeps BLS Certification current at all times. LPN: Licensed Practical Nurse diploma from an accredited school. Current Licensed Practical Nursing license. Maintains annual and continuing education credits; keeps license current at all times. Medical Assistant: Accredited Medical Assistant Program Certification or equivalent on the job training consisting of 3 or more years. Completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred. Two to five years of experience in a physician office setting preferred. Preferred Qualifications : Physician’s office experience preferred. Experience with EPIC (EMR) a plus along with insurance processes required within a clinical setting. Physical Demands: Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting at least 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
