As a Registered Nurse (RN) you will assume responsibility and accountability for:

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.

Education Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred

  • One year RN experience 
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty

Licenses/Certification Requirements

Job Summary and Responsibilities PACU Unit Description: At Longmont United Hospital, the Preop, PACU, GI, and Infusion departments are co-located, fostering a highly collaborative and team-oriented culture. Staff members often take on multiple responsibilities while specializing in one area, offering opportunities for diverse experience. Our Endoscopy unit features two suites, performing an average of 170 procedures monthly running five days a week. Outpatient Infusion services manage 5-15 patients daily. We have six operating rooms, handling approximately 175 surgeries per month, including general, orthopedic, opthalmologic, urologic, ENT, and plastic surgeries, with robotic assistance. Our mission is to deliver exceptional surgical care with respect and compassion. We cultivate a warm, open environment, encouraging all team members to actively participate in departmental decision-making.
