Job Description:

We are seeking a Male Caregiver to provide in-home support for clients who require or prefer male assistance. This role is ideal for dependable caregivers ready to start immediately.

You will assist clients with daily living activities while ensuring safety, dignity, and comfort.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene support

  • Support mobility and safe transfers

  • Help with meal preparation and feeding assistance when needed

  • Provide companionship and emotional support

  • Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment

  • Observe and report changes in client condition

  • Follow individualized care plans and instructions

Requirements:

  • CNA, HHA, or PCA experience preferred

  • Male caregiver preferred due to client needs

  • Reliable, patient, and respectful

  • Strong communication skills

Shifts Available:
(day, night, overnight, live-in, weekend, weekdays, short shifts)

We support children and families in managing a wide range of challenges through our In Home Therapy, Therapeutic Mentoring, and In Home Behavioral Services programs. Our Therapeutic Youth Support staff work with children and adolescents up to age 21 through activities in homes and in the community. Services include supporting, coaching, and training children in age-appropriate behaviors, interpersonal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution, and relating to other children, adolescents, and adults. Implement appropriate interventions that can assist in supporting the youth and parent/guardian/caregiver. Provide member transportation as needed in connection with service delivery. Assist in the coordination of treatment planning and intensive family therapy. Provide coaching in support of decision making in both crisis and non-crisis situations. Attend necessary meetings, such as care planning, school, and hospital discharge meetings. Provide referrals and linkage to appropriate supports and services. Conduct member outreach as needed to engage members and families. Evenings and at least one weekend day is a requirement Qualifications Bachelor’s or associate’s degree from an accredited institution, counseling or related field required with one year minimum experience working with children/families and adolescents in child development, childhood mental illness, and family issues. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers and providers. High energy level, superior interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team atmosphere. Must hold a valid driver's license, have access to an operational and insured vehicle and be willing to use it to transport clients. Strongly prefer a candidate that will have a demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
