Short Description

  • Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to the Urgent Care Center. 
  • This RN is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self.
  • Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Urgent Care Center. 
  • This new model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Cherry Hill and surrounding areas. 
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required.

Experience Required

Home Therapies RN Position PURPOSE AND SCOPE: Functions as part of the Home Therapies dialysis health care team. Dialysis Treatment: Provides safe and effective delivery of home therapy support care to patients with ESRD. Assesses patients’ response to home dialysis treatment therapy by following predetermined protocols. Communicates patient related issues to the physician as needed. Reports adverse patient events at home or in the clinic as well as equipment and technology related problems to the Clinical/Home Therapies management and physician including the correct documentation of such events. Coordinates the transfer of patients to the hemodialysis clinic when needed and appropriate. Laboratory Related: Reviews, transcribes, and enters physician lab orders accurately into the Medical Information System. Follows company policies and government regulations related to the collection, packaging, and delivery of lab specimens and reporting of results. General Duties: Maintains competency with all emergency operational procedures, and initiate CPR and emergency measures in the event of a cardiac and/or respiratory arrest when the patient is in the medical office. Administers medications as prescribed including following algorithms (as appropriate), and document appropriate medical justification if indicated and maintain records on controlled substances as required by law. Maintenance/Technical: Maintains appropriate skill level in the operation of all home dialysis therapy-related equipment, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems with the patient via telephone. Directs patients in the preventative maintenance of home therapies equipment, including water systems and analyses as appropriate. Coordinates with the company products division on the delivery, operation and maintenance of all home therapy dialysis equipment. Medical Records & Documentation: Admits all new patients and documents as needed. Job Responsibilities Delivering high quality, resident-centered care while working as a RN in post-acute facilities Coordinating with the broader care team to shape personalized care plans for residents Communicating various care options with medical staff, residents, and their family members Taking and monitoring vital signs and drawing fluids as needed for lab work Delivering medications and administering treatments to residents Documenting vital signs, nursing interventions and responses, medical histories, and other relevant information in resident records Ensuring the effective use of medical equipment and devices Assisting staff members with incident investigations Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and standards of care Training nursing professionals and support staff as needed consistent with scope of practice requirements Being accountable to follow and adhere to resident care plans Qualifications and Skills Current Pennsylvania state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) 6 months of experience (in an RN or related role) Completion of an approved nursing program High level of organizational skills Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across medical and nursing teams Ability to lift at least 50 lbs Find Real Work-Life Balance With IntelyCare If you're ready to finally have a career and a full life to go with it, then your search for Registered Nurse (RN) jobs brought you to the right place.
