Short Description Responsible for the facilitation and coordination of safe and comprehensive care to all patients presenting to Moorestown/Oncology Multidisciplinary sites. This Oncology Nurse Coordinator is a professional care-giver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. Clinical application of the knowledge and skill in the following areas: Pharmacology, principals and application of chemotherapy administration, side effects and appropriate nursing intervention, chemotherapy, liaison for patients/families receiving treatment. This Oncology Nurse Coordinator III will be required to work in multiple areas within Oncology. Leadership may be remote; requires ability of expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level. Will have the unique opportunity to assist in the development and operations of the Cooper Moorestown Multidisciplinary site. This model focuses on the acute/immediate care needs in the Moorestown and surrounding areas. Excellent customer service, interpersonal and clinical skills are required. Experience Required At least 1 year RN experience in Oncology setting required, 3-5 years preferred. Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred. License/Certification Requirements Current NJ-RN License (Registered Nurse) Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) ONS/ONCC required. Special Requirements Oncology Nurse Coordinator requires critical thinking to consider factors related to patient safety, effectiveness, and cost in delivering care. Effective resource utilization by the Nurse Coordinator requires coordination with the Clinical Director to plan or change course of action for improved continuity of care and outcomes. Requires expanded problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making at a supervisory level, including excellent communication skills and the ability to delegate effectively and supervise the work of other team members.

Overview The Coronary Care Unit is a 12-bed cardiac intensive care unit. The CCU cares for complex cardiac critical care patients including structural heart (TAVR), pre-cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, cardiogenic shock, and other critical cardiac disease processes. The CCU nurses receive specialized training to care for our critical care cardiac patients Experience Required A minimum of one year or more of acute care experience in an inpatient setting is preferred. Short Description The Graduate Nurse (GN) is a professional caregiver who, as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team, assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame and who supervises and provides care to these patients utilizing the nursing process including the therapeutic use of self. The GN holds a temporary emergency RN license and shall be eligible to work only under supervision in an acute care facility licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. Such supervision may be in the form of a preceptor relationship. Follows established policies and procedures. Communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors. Provides excellent customer service interfacing well with all levels of staff, management and physicians. Applies Cooper core values. Other duties as required. The following tasks will not be performed by the GN: Procedures not signed off by the RN preceptor or Clinical Educator that require competency. Direct or supervise other healthcare staff. Make assignments for other staff. Experience Required The Graduate Nurse will have successfully completed his/her nursing school. Previous inpatient experience as a Nurse Associate/Patient Care Technician preferred. Education Requirements Graduate of NLN accredited School of Nursing.
