Major Responsibilities:

Physicial Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts in order to accommodate staffing Certain positions may need to take call Ability to transport objects, patients, and equipment Ability to respond quickly to patient needs and work at fast pace Work environment includes probability of exposure to adverse, hazardous, or unpleasant conditions while caring for the sick Ability to assist in evacuation of patients in the event of a fire or other disaster Routinely works with potentially infectious specimens and patients Ability to respond to patients in a timely manner and access all areas of the unit
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance. For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available. Unique patient lifting/movement situations will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Position Highlights: Position: Clinical Nurse Coordinator Location: Glenbrook Hospital Full Time/Part Time: Full Time, Evening Shift - Hours to be discussed with manager, with rotating weekends and holidays Hours: 40 Required Travel: N/A What you will need : License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the state of IL required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred Certification: BLS/CPR certification required Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in appropriate clinical setting required; Prior management experience preferred Skills: N/A What you will do : Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience Manage day to day clinical operations and unit workflow/throughput Would assume direct patient care if necessary Be accountable for the outcomes of care for patients in a specific clinical care area(s) Guide and direct a team of care-givers in providing high quality, individualized care to the patient and family, while preparing them for discharge Guides staff development by teaching, mentoring and counseling with new and experienced staff, for both clinical and customer loyalty skills Takes lead on clinical performance management Benefits (For full time or part time positions): Eligibility for our Annual Incentive Plan, which offers the potential to earn a certain percentage amount of your base salary based on organizational performance.
