Requirements:

Completion of an accredited surgical technologist program required. Must hold current surgical technologist certification and be in good standing with NBSTSA and/or NCCT.
Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a surgical tech in an inpatient surgical setting (most recent experience within the last year).
Strong familiarity with Universal Protocol measures (such as Surgical Site marking, Time Out, and procedure verification process).
Able to demonstrate knowledge and skills of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, supplies, and equipment, and maintaining sterile surgical field.
Must be a resourceful and adaptable individual who takes direction well, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, collaborates with surgical staff, and is comfortable asking clarifying questions.
