This position offers a high degree of autonomy as clinicians work independently with the support of a Medical Assistant. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of clinical experience while being comfortable in a fast-paced setting. Join the Providence ExpressCare team as a full-time nurse practitioner or physician associate. As a Mission based, community focused service, the clinics provide the perfect work life balance with a 3-day week schedule. ExpressCare serves as a critical access point for the organization, supporting overflow of patients from primary care, urgent care and emergency departments. There is plenty of variety in its services which demand critical thinking and clinic-based procedures, which provides variety every day. ExpressCare serves the purpose of providing access to communities, both in person and virtually, while also offering a more predictable day with a schedule of 30 twenty-minute appointments in a 12-hour period. The staffing model consists of a single provider and a medical assistant, with a support structure in place across the system. Included in the generous compensation package is the potential for a productivity incentive. Ideal candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine, as well as having the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Providence Women’s and Children’s Services is seeking full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Physician Associate) who have completed a 12-month Neonatal PA fellowship or residency program to join a well-established team of practitioners in Portland, Oregon. In this role you will provide clinical management of high-risk neonates and infants, patient education, and work collaboratively with medical, nursing and support services to provide high-value, family centered care. You will also exercise autonomy of practice in ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests to drive the patient treatment plans.
