We have multiple openings available for full-time benefited positions at Scripps Clinic Rancho Bernardo. These positions follow an 8-hour day shift schedule, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

What You'll Do

  • Predominantly back-office responsibilities but is expected to help with front-office duties
  • Rooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with procedures
  • Clinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocols
  • Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment
  • Organizes and performs patient care services that support the physician’s practice

Required Qualifications

  • Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
  • BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience working as Medical Assistant
  • Primary Care, Family Practice, Pediatric experience
