Palmetto Care Center Nursing Facility is seeking vibrant and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our staff!

Shift details: Part Time 7a3p and 3p-11:3pp

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

Monitoring residents, their responses to treatment care plans.
Supervising and directing.
Document necessary information regarding nursing care, care plans and observation of resident’s overall conditions.
Perform various duties to provide quality nursing care to residents.
Analyzes information for appropriate interventions to prevent decline.
Record signs of change in condition.
Notify appropriate staff per facility protocol to evaluate weight loss, decline in ambulation, development of skin breakdown, etc.
Administers medications and treatments to residents; monitor administration of intravenous fluids; places orders for medication.
Maintain resident clinical files; keep charts updated; document appropriately.
Make rounds to see each resident daily.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN):

At least one year of experience in a Long-Term Care environment is highly preferred.
Must be a graduate of an approved practical nursing program.
Must possess and maintain a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
Must be able to move, lift and position patients.
