Description: Fort Lee Public School is seeking an Elementary School Nurse for School #1

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree
• Current Registered Nurse License
• Must hold a NJ DOE School Nurse Certification or be able to obtain Emergency School Nurse Certification
• Must hold a current CPR-AED Certification
• Experience working with elementary and high school-aged children in Grades PK-12
• Pediatric experience with chronic and acute illnesses, and special needs preferred
• Ability to respond quickly and calmly using critical thinking and assessment skills.
• Ability to respond during evacuation situations.
• Ability to triage effectively.
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment as part of a team.
• Availability for school trips and summer work, preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Working Conditions: Part Time, 10 month position, no benefits

Salary range: Based on FLEA salary guide which ranges between $64,375 and $121,709, commensurate with experience.

Position Start Date: September 1, 2026 plus NTO.
