Make a difference as a temporary Registered Nurse supporting schools near Evanston, IL! This is an opportunity to deliver vital care to students by covering a maternity leave assignment across two locations. Youll serve learners at both Learn 6 and Learn 10 campuses, working full-time to ensure a safe, healthy environment for all. The assignment begins with onboarding on July 20th and runs for 2-3 months, depending on the need.

Qualifications and Experience:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
Previous experience in school nursing, pediatric, or community health settings strongly preferred
Ability to assess and manage routine childhood illness and injury, administer medications, and maintain accurate health records
Strong communication skills to collaborate with students, staff, and parents
Flexible and comfortable covering multiple schools during the assignment
CPR and First Aid certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver day-to-day healthcare and manage health office operations for elementary and middle school students
Administer medications, treatments, and conduct routine health screenings
Respond to emergencies, coordinate care plans for students with chronic conditions, and promote healthy habits within the school community
Serve as a liaison between staff, administration, and families regarding student health needs
Ensure compliance with all state and federal school health guidelines and maintain confidentiality
