Make a meaningful impact by providing 1:1 nursing support to a student as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) on a contract basis. In this role, you’ll be working closely with a male Out of District student, accompanying and supporting him during his school activities and transportation. This opportunity offers consistent hours—approximately 40 per week—and continuity, with the assignment anticipated to span through the remainder of the 25/26 school year, over the summer, and likely into the following fall and beyond.

Desired Qualifications:

Current, active Massachusetts nursing license (LPN or RN)
Experience providing 1:1 support in school or pediatric settings preferred
Knowledge of care planning, medication administration, and health monitoring for children/adolescents
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with school staff, students, and families
Ability to maintain documentation and adhere to school and healthcare policies

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized nursing care to one student, ensuring safety and well-being throughout the school day and during transport
Support the student in the classroom and adapt care according to educational activities and identified needs
Administer medications, manage health protocols, and address urgent needs as necessary per nursing scope
Maintain student health records and timely communication with school personnel and parents/guardians
Foster a positive and trusting relationship to enhance the student’s engagement in their educational environment
