As a PRN Licensed Practical Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Modesto, CA. 
The scheduled hours are PRN as needed.

  • Enjoy the flexibility of PRN scheduling while working in a beautiful clinic, supporting primary care and light occupational health services with a manageable volume of just 8–12 patients per day.
  • Expand your skills in a hands-on role with opportunities to perform phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, patient follow-up, and front office responsibilities using Epic EMR in a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Provides direct patient care and collaboration under the supervision of healthcare providers, and within scope of practice
  • Performs and documents medical tasks to include medication administration wound care, observes reactions to treatments, and specimen collection such as urine, blood, and sputum based on provider orders
  • Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
  • Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing accredited program, Associate's degree (A.S.) and/or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • Currently Licensed as a Practical or Vocational Nurse in state of practice required
  • Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required 
  • At least three years of clinical experience as LPN/LVN in an ambulatory care, occupational health, or emergency department setting

Reports results of laboratory and other tests to the patient when directed by the medical provider. Utilizes available communication methods, which may include EMR and telephone, to convey patient-related communication as necessary.
