We need RNs who are enthusiastic, motivated, dedicated, and passionate about helping to provide quality care to individuals with developmental disabilities. 

$45 - $65 /hr per diem position 

RN Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop nursing care plans after completing patient evaluations and review of medical documents.

  • Provide training to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) on how to implement the nursing care plan and other relevant medical information, as applicable. This may involve travel to meet with the patient and/or DSP and some of the work may be done remotely. 

Requirements:

  • NJ RN License

  • Drug Screening

  • CPR/First Aid Certification

  • Ability to travel into community for evaluations as needed 

  • Completion of assigned CDS (College of Direct Support) trainings

Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health is looking for a qualified RN for their location in Eatontown, NJ. The Registered Nurse assists the physician practice manager and nurse practitioner in various aspects of medical treatment and testing in accordance with their practice act. RN maintains exam rooms and equipment and keeps an orderly flow of patients to be seen by the physicians. Functions include being part of the patient care team in efforts to achieve goals established for both the individual patient and the clinical service. Qualifications Required : New Jersey RN License BLS Certification approved by AHA Minimum 1 year of RN experience Preferred BA/BS/BSN degree Epic experience preferred Certifications And Licenses Required New Jersey RN License BLS Certification approved by AHA Scheduling Requirements Day Shift Full-Time Schedule Essential Functions Administers immunizations, and injections as directed by physician. Assists physician in examination and treatment of patients and in all special procedures including minor surgery as required. Assists the physician with patients including preparing patients and the examination rooms, taking initial medical history for the chart, taking vital signs, making lab and x-ray appointments, and explaining the preparations to the patients and documenting same. Assists with the preparation of equipment and aids physician during treatment, examination, and testing of patients in accordance with nursing standards. Handles all prescription refills and call-ins to pharmacies and patients. Maintains and keeps examination rooms and treatment areas clean, including, washes and dries instruments used, and prepares sterilization as required.
