Parsons Hill Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Worcester is hiring an every other weekend RN Nursing Supervisor!
7a-7p at $50 an hour.
As our RN Nursing Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level of quality resident care is maintained at all times. We are a 162-bed skilled nursing facility with a large SUDS population.
Job Responsibilities:
Direct the total nursing care activities in the facility, working closely with the Director of Nursing Services
Develop, update, and communicate resident care plans
Ensure staff is implementing care plans and performing care activities appropriately
Maintain current resident care plans and respond to changes in resident status
Follow physician orders and transmit them promptly and accurately
Document comprehensive and complete nursing notes
Administer medication according to procedure, if applicable
Initiate emergency procedures as needed
Conduct oversight of Charge Nurses and CNA performances
Contribute to positive resident and family relations
Requirements:
Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts
CPR certification
Minimum one (1) year experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare facility
Strong assessment skills and knowledge of restorative nursing and rehabilitation policies
Ability to make independent decisions and deal tactfully with personnel, residents, and families
Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care
Leadership and supervisory ability, with a willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel
