Expected pay for this position is $55.20 - $63.65/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is a Salaried position.

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations,management of overweight, obesity, and related chronic conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating:
- Nutrition counseling
- Physical activity recommendations
- Behavioral modification strategies
- Anti-obesity pharmacotherapy
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and manage side effects or complications
Provide education on obesity as a chronic disease and promote long-term lifestyle changes
Team-based approach, including collaboration with primary care and support services.

Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $55.20-63.65 hr. This is a salaried position.

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree or higher in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
Minimum of two years of experience as an APP in primary care or a related field required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
