Desired Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN license in Washington
  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric patients preferred

  • Experience performing catheterizations safely and effectively
  • Familiarity with Hoyer Lift operations for safe transfers
  • Skilled in oral and nasal suctioning techniques
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with students, families, and educational staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany student on school bus; pick-up at 7:59am, drop-off at 4:15pm
  • Provide individualized medical care throughout the school day (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all care provided
  • Respond promptly to student’s health needs, both routine and emergent
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and family members to ensure the student's health and safety while supporting their educational experience
