QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Joliet, Illinois. What You'll Do- Welcome and prepare patients for examinations by obtaining vital signs and documenting detailed medical histories.
- Assist providers during dermatologic procedures and examinations, ensuring efficient and high-quality patient care.
- Perform basic laboratory testing and collect specimens for analysis as needed.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations and practice standards.
- Coordinate patient scheduling and support seamless communication between patients, providers, and staff.
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medication instructions, and skincare recommendations to promote positive outcomes.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary medical supplies and equipment.

- High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or similar clinical role is advantageous.
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dermatology.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written for effective patient interactions.
- Ability to manage sensitive patient information with the utmost confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a medical setting.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard office software is beneficial.

Compensation Range: $19.53 - $25.15 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
