Job Duties/Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse coordinates the total nursing care for patients and their families or significant others. Provides leadership and works collaboratively with other nursing service personnel to maintain standards of practice and standards of nursing care. Assumes responsibility to assess and plan for the nursing care needs of patients and their families or significant others 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Implements the plan of care as assigned and evaluates the effectiveness of the care given.

This opportunity is a full-time position of 36 hours per week with rotational weekends. The work hours are from 7:00am to 7:00pm.

Pediatric Leadership Position - PPEC Site Director of Nursing The Site Director of Nursing (SDON) is responsible for the coordination and supervision of all professional and nonprofessional staff at the designated facility. The SDON is responsible for the supervision of all tasks and duties that are delegated by a Support Director, the CEO and/or the President. SDON will be familiar with Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) regulations . QUALIFICATIONS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure, BSN preferred. Must be licensed in the state of the designated facility or, if applicable, have a qualifying Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). Basic personal computer skills and comfort with Microsoft Office. A minimum of five (5) years current nursing experience of which six (6) months will have been spent in a PICU, NICU, or PPEC facility Current CPR (Basic Life Support) is required.
